The Servant Soul Foundation is a nonprofit organization formed to carry out Random Acts of Kindness. Whether it's to help terminally ill children, to find a cure for cancer, to fight illiteracy, to perform humanitarian missions, or to raise awareness about diseases and prevent the premature death of children, the Foundation is about doing God's work. It's about making a contribution and making the world a better place.

Dear Reader:
Our 12-year-old daughter, Missy, went to camp and never returned. She died of a brain aneurism that we never knew she had. Brain aneurisms kill nearly as many people annually as AIDS or breast cancer in the U.S yet you likely have never discussed them with your doctor. Brain Aneurism Disease (B.A.D.) is quite prevalent among children and often misdiagnosed as a migraine headache. Immediate diagnosis and treatment are vital to survival.
On what would have been Missy's 13th birthday, we established The Missy Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of BAD in children through education, outreach and early detection. Today in partnership with The University of Texas Medical Center, The Missy Project is offering free early detection screenings to prevent untimely deaths.
How You Can Help:
- Go to www.servantsoul.org and Gift the book to two people you love or care about and 100% of the proceeds will go toward the Missy Project.
- Go to our website www.themissyproject.com and donate a screening.
- Encourage conversation with the health community about early detection of brain aneurism disease
- Keep us and many other families in your heart, thoughts and prayers
Thank you,
The Magel Family
